Electricity and Magnetism lab
The laboratory is equipped with a wide range of experimental setups to study electrical circuits, Ohm’s law, Kirchhoff’s laws, resistance, capacitance, inductance, electromagnetic induction, magnetic fields, galvanometers, potentiometers, and AC/DC electrical measurements. Students learn to handle precision instruments, perform accurate measurements, analyze experimental data, and estimate errors using scientific methods.
The laboratory caters to B.Sc. (Physics), B.Sc. (Honours Physics), and M.Sc. Physics students, providing a strong foundation in experimental electromagnetism. It also promotes scientific inquiry, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and adherence to laboratory safety practices.
